St. Mark’s opens for public skating over the holidays on Sunday (Updated)

As often is the case, Mother Nature has not cooperated enough to get the community skating rink at Woodward up and running.

Fortunately, St. Mark’s School is opening its doors to the public again for some free skating opportunities. (Confession, they were also open over Thanksgiving – but I missed sharing that!)

Sessions alternate between Free Skate and Sticks and Pucks times.

(This year, the free period will be capped off by a special outdoor skating community event by St. Mark’s and Fay School on January 4th, noon-4:00 pm. So stay tuned for details on that.)

St Mark’s Gardener rink is inside the Michel Faculty Athletic Center. It can be accessed off School Street (map).

Admission is free, but there are no rentals, so you’ll need to bring your own skates. Click here for the rink guidelines.
