Why flags are at half staff: April 15, 2015 (Updated)

It turns out that flags are flying at half staff in Southborough for more than one reason today.

Governor Charles Baker ordered the lowering of flags across the state today in honor of:

the individuals who lost their lives and were injured during the Boston Marathon Bombings of April 15, 2013.

Meanwhile, as I posted earlier, flags across the nation are at half staff to honor President Abraham Lincoln on the anniversary of his death. You can read more on that below.
