At the library this week: Games & Puzzles, PJ story time, and the annual kids’ parade

Just about the only action in town this week is at the library. Here are highlights:

Tuesday, June 30, 2015

  • Advanced Tai Chi (10:15 – 11:45 am) @ Main Floor: Join a group of experienced participants for meditation and Tai Chi in the library’s main floor shortly after we open on select Tuesday mornings. This group normally meets at the Senior Center, but will be meeting at the library over the summer. All are welcome! For more information, contact Jeanne Friswell at 508-485-5031
  • Games & Puzzles (10:30 AM – 5:00 pm) @  Children’s Room: Kids will have the chance to play different games and puzzles all day in the Children’s Room! Registration is not required.

Wednesday, July 1, 2015

  • Pajama Story Time (7:00 pm) @ Outside lawn: Come to the library in your pajamas to hear stories! Bring a blanket. (In inclement weather, it will be held in the Children’s Room.) All welcome and no registration is necessary.

Thursday, July 2, 2015

  • Children’s Fourth of July Parade (11:00 am – 12:00 pm): Children and parents/caregivers, meet downstairs to grab some flags, noisemakers, and patriotic accessories. Then march up Common Street to the Town House for the annual Independence Day Celebration! Refreshments will be served after the parade. Registration is not required.
