The Southborough Senior Center is closed for renovations longer than expected. With that comes some adjustments to the program schedule.

Originally work was scheduled to be completed in time for re-opening in a week. Anyone whose been through a renovation project is probably not surprised to learn that it’s taking longer than expected.

Here’s the announcement from the Senior Center, explaining which programs will be postponed or moved:

The Senior Center will be closed for activities due to extended construction and safety concerns until August 3rd, with the exception of our Bus Trips, Golf Clinics and our Podiatrist’s – July 27th visit, which will be relocated to the Board of Health.*

Please mail any program payments directly to the Senior Center (with a note stating the program).**

Our Summer BBQ has been moved to Thursday, August 20th at 1:00pm.

The Senior Center Staff will remain working – please call if you have any questions (508) 229-4453.

Thank you for your patience, the new area will be well worth the wait!

*The Board of Health office is located in the basement of the Senior Center building.

**Mail should be sent to Southborough Senior Center, 9 Cordaville Road, Southborough MA 01772.
