Southborough’s shared hockey league is announcing another program for young skaters. This time the focus is on beginner girls around 4-8 years old (born 2007-2011).

The program kicks off this coming Saturday morning, October 24th.

Triboro Youth Hockey in conjunction with the Mike Cheever Grow Hockey and Boston Bruins Foundation are proud to announce a new game only hockey league for girls born 2007-2011.

Triboro Youth Hockey was the recipient of a grant awarded each year to hockey organizations that develop programs to promote the game of hockey in youths. Triboro also partnered with the Starhawks and Demons hockey programs to develop this program. Our program this year is designed specifically for girls to engage them in hockey with their peers.

The program will be games only once per week played cross ice 3 vs 3. We are also planning to have volunteers from Algonquin high school as on ice referees at as many games as we can arrange. This should be a great way for girls to develop a love for hockey while they play the game with their friends.
