  • Exciting Women’s Circle (10:00 am) @ Southborough Senior Center: Senior Center’s social circle for ladies. New members are always welcome. This week, participants will be asked interesting questions to make them think about their values. For more information, call the Senior Center at 508-229-4453

    Curling for seniors (11:00 am – 2:00 pm) @ Broomstones Curling Club, 1 Curling Lane, Wayland: This event organized with the senior center provides time for instruction, a short game, and fun. Suggested donation for members of Friends of Council of Aging is $20, $30 for non-members. Participants are responsible for their own transportation. Call (508) 229‐4453 to sign up.   • Neary Noodle Night (5:00 – 8:30 pm) @ Neary School: Neary SOS’ biggest annual fundraiser for students and family. (Rescheduled from February 5th.) The night is split into 3 sessions: 5-6:30, 6-7:30, and 7-8:30. If you already registered for the original night, you automatically have the same time slot – unless you contact them. For other details, see dedicated post.

    “Jazz for Joseph” (7:00 – 9:00 pm) @ Community House, 28 Main Street: The Friends of Burnett-Garfield House is hosting this free evening of Jazz, Wine, Cheese and Conversation. For more details, click on flyer.

  • Maundy Thursday (6:00 pm) @ The First Community Church, 137 Southville Road: The church invites the community to the special service at 7 pm, to be preceded by a meal of soup and bread at 6 pm.

Good Friday, March 25, 2016 – No Public School

  • Bingo (12:30 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Come join Frank and Lena for an afternoon of Bingo, fun, prizes and of course Frank’s jokes. Bingo will start promptly at 12:30. The room will be open at noon if you would like to bring and enjoy your lunch before numbers are called. Or purchase a lunch for $3 (please sign up if you plan to use that option.)   • Easter Egg Hunt (10:30 am) @ Southborough Community House Lawn: Southborough Kindergroup’s annual egg hunt. This year, the fee is $3/child or $5/per family. For more details, see dedicated post.

  • Easter Sunrise Service (6:30 am) @ Hopkinton State Park: The Lay Council of The United Parishes of Southborough will hold its annual Easter Sunrise service at the end of the parking lot next to the marina. In case of steady rain, the service will take place at First Community Church.

Updated (3/23/16 7:30 am): I had listed the wrong end time for Jazz for Joseph. It ends at 9:00 pm.
