  • Free Throw Championship (6:00 – 7:30 pm) @ Trottier Middle School Gym: The Knights of Columbus will be holding their annual free-throw competition for 9-14 year-olds. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Finn Kindergarten Registration (8:00 am – 2:30 pm) @ Mary Finn School, 60 Richards Road: Eligible children are those who turn five by August 31, 2017. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Snowshoe or hike (1:15 pm) @ carpool from Southborough Senior Center: Event organized by the Trailblazers. Walkup Reservation Westboro. There are 5 pairs of snowshoes available to borrow. Please sign up for these outdoor activities by calling (508) 229-4453. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Culinary Challenge (6:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School, room E107: Fundraiser for the Serenity Garden initiative. Ten teams of three will compete using a mystery ingredient. Tickets are $10 each. Stay tuned for post later today with more details.
  • District speaker series: Interface of Brain and Mind on Resiliency (6:30 – 8:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School Black Box Theatre: The Northborough-Southborough school district is bringing in an expert speaker to explain to parents “How to Use Biological and Psychological Principles to Help Children Strive for Success” Guest Speaker: Dr. Kerry Wilkins.   • Senior Matinee – Miracles From Heaven (12:00 – 1:50 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Free movie screening for Southborough seniors. Based on a true story, starring Jennifer Garner. Movie is rated PG. (Before the show, the center will serve lunch in the “cafe” beginning at 11:15; but please pre-register. Suggested donation of $3).

  • Art Workshops for Children (10:30 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: Children ages 5-9 are invited to be a part of the drop in art workshops. (Siblings allowed.) This session, participants will create winter paintings. Registration is not required. The workshop will be run by Bigelow Center for the Arts; Lanting Huang-Truong. Sponsored by the Community Fund, a fund of the Foundation for Metrowest.

Updated (1/9/17 1:53 pm): I just learned of the Culinary Challenge taking place Thursday night at Algonquin.

I believe you omitted one meeting for Wed Jan 11.
Public Safety building study committee , with abutters and
Golfers.
At 7 at cordaville hall.

Not certain , but have it written into calendar.
