Open discussion thread: Ask questions, share opinions (Updated)

It’s time for another open thread. What’s on your mind this week, Southborough?

For those of you new to the blog, the open discussion thread is your place to ask questions, sound off on town issues, or share information with other readers. Here are some suggestions to get you started:

  • Ask questions about programs in town or the town itself
  • Post a note about things that you’re selling or giving away, or things that you want
  • Share notices about upcoming events (Southborough or otherwise)
  • Register your thoughts on town issues or news stories
  • Point out interesting or helpful resources

You can add comments to the thread throughout the week. Check back often to see new comments. (If you read the blog via email or RSS, you might want to check the site from time to time for new comments.)

Updated (6/16/17 9:05 am): I had accidentally included a video I shared in my last open thread. I noticed it after, once again, receiving more live footage of wildlife in town. This one, from Monica Akus, was a “live” photo of foxes on Bantry Road. (Click here to view a cropped close up of the still photo):

Updated (6/16/17 9:15 am): Not perfect timing to share a YouTube video it turns out. If you’re having tech issues, it’s not me, it’s them. Frustrated users are tweeting that they are having the same experience. Hopefully, whatever is down will be back up soon. (One YouTube 505 error message promises that a team of “highly trained monkeys” is hard at work on the issue.)
