Library: Trade “love” for amnesty this month

Above: When you drop by the Library, you can literally stop and smell the roses. You can also drop off a charitable donation and get most fines waived. The Southborough Library is again asking patrons love the Library. But, it seems to me, staff is really asking you to join them in showing love for the Southborough Food Pantry.

If you’ve racked up some overdue fines, this is the time to take care of it. The Library is holding its annual amnesty program:

This February, Love Your Library
Donate to the Food Pantry and get your fines waived!

Between February 1st-February 28th, patrons may bring non-perishable items to pay off their fines for Southborough items. Your donations will be greatly appreciated at the Southborough Food Pantry. Bring food items to the main desk or the Children’s Room desk during library hours.

If you’ve lost the item, all you will be responsible for is the replacement cost, no late fees! We want you back at the library (and our materials too)!

Items needed: laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels, instant coffee, ground coffee, pet food, and cat litter.

Please note: Fees for lost, damaged or interlibrary loan materials cannot be waived.
