Obituary: Anita M. (DelSesto) Cibelli, 93

Anita M. (DelSesto) Cibelli, 93, formerly of Southborough and Mashpee, died on Monday, February 19, 2018 at St Camillus Health Center in Whitinsville.

She was the wife of the late Lee Cibelli for 62 years.

Anita was a graduate of Providence High School. After moving to Southborough and raising her children, she worked for many years for A. Cibelli & Sons and later for the former Data General. Anita was a member of the Southborough Historical Society as well as a Girl Scout leader. While living in Mashpee, she volunteered in the public schools. Anita enjoyed collecting and restoring antiques. She was also an outstanding cook and loved having big family gatherings. Anita was extremely devoted to her family, especially to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Cibelli of Nutley, NJ; Maryanne Flaherty of South Weymouth; Julie Perkins of Shirley; her grandchildren, Nicole and Emily Cibelli; Scott Macdonald and Megan Lang; Timothy and Samantha Perkins; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and in-laws.

There will be a visiting hour on Thursday, February 22, from 10 to 11 AM at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough, followed by a funeral home service at 11:15. Burial will be in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Anita’s memory to the Activity Account at St Carmillus Heath Center, 447 Hill St., Whitinsville, MA 01588
