Spreading Holiday Cheer: Kindergroup caroling for seniors

This month, volunteer members of Southborough Kindergroup are going Christmas Caroling. Small groups of parents/caregivers and tots are serenading seniors from a social distance.

Senior Center Director Pam Lefrancois shared the news with me along with some pictures. Looking at the photos below, it looks like the singers are receiving as much joy as they are giving. (Click thumbnails to enlarge)

Kindergroup’s Chelsea Malinowski (also a Southborough Selectman) is coordinating the activity. Malinowski explained that only 2-3 volunteer families carol at a time to allow safe distancing between households. Each session they visit 2 senior households to sing.

They hope to continue spreading cheer to Southborough seniors through December 20th.

Southborough Kindergroup is a cooperative playgroup for parents/caregivers and children 0-5 years old. You can learn more about them here.
