Cookbook Club heading outdoors – Tuesday

In 2018, the Southborough Library launched a Cookbook Club. For each meeting, the public was invited to make recipes from selected cookbooks. Participants then gathered for a potluck meal out of their contributions.

After a long, hiatus due to Covid, the group will resume public events next week. (They did “share” at least one meal virtually last year. But seeing is hardly as satisfying as tasting.)

Southborough Library Cookbook Club flyerThe club is scheduled to meet this Tuesday, September 21st at 6:00 pm on the Library’s lawn. Anyone is welcome to join them. (The event is free as long as you pay your way by serving up a dish of your own to share.)

For the relaunch, participants are free to use any cookbook they choose. If you don’t have a favorite at home, the Library has a hundreds of cookbooks you can choose from. (Take a gander at what’s currently available here.)

As usual, participants are asked to email coordinator Marianna Sorensen in advance at msorensen@southboroughma.com. Please let her know what you’re planning to whip up.
