Sock Drive to Benefit Worcester Homeless

Above: Pilgrim Church asked me to share their flyer and news about an “urgent” collection drive over the next two weeks.

The Pilgrim Congregational Church’s Outreach Committee asked me to share news about their collection drive. The “Urgent Sock Drive” is collecting adult-sized white socks today, May 12th through Friday, May 26th.

The drive is to benefit the homeless population in Worcester. The church website explains the effort is in partnership with Worcester Fellowship, an “outdoor church dedicated to ending isolation by nurturing community and providing pastoral care in Worcester”.

The socks can be dropped off at Pilgrim Church’s back entrance at 15 Common Street. (A special collection bin is located next to the Food Pantry bins.)
