This afternoon, the Town issued a notice from the Dept of Public Works about the temporary impact of hydrant flow tests being conducted today:
Please be advised that the Town Water Department is in the process of doing a series of hydrant flow tests around town today (11/14/2023). As a result, you may experience discolored water. We expect the discoloration to dissipate overnight. We advise to not do laundry today and want to assure you that there are no health implications associated with the discoloration. There is no need to boil water prior to consumption and the water is safe to consume. Thank you for your time and apologize for the inconvenience.
