Thanksgiving is more than just a day of thanks. Most people — whether traveling, cooking, or hosting a gathering — take a little time off from work before and/or after the day. So it’s not surprising that municipal facilities will be closed for more than just Thursday.
Here’s what’s closing early and/or staying closed longer.
Southborough public schools
Schools get out early Wednesday. Closed through the weekend.
Senior Center
Closes at noon on Wednesday and remains closed through the weekend.
Library
Open for regular hours on Wednesday (through 9:00 pm). Closed Thursday through the weekend.
Town House and Town Offices
Open for regular hours on Wednesday. Closed Thursday through the weekend.
Transfer Station
Closed Thursday and Friday. Open for regular hours on Wednesday and Saturday.
