  • Trottier Musical: Honk Jr (3:00 – 4:15 pm) @ Trottier Middle School auditorium: 6th-8th grade students will perform the junior version of the award winning musical adaptation of “The Ugly Duckling” story. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Wick Choral Festival (7:30 pm) @ St. Mark’s School, Class of ’45 Hall, Putnam Family Arts Center: Admission is free to St. Mark’s 2 day celebration of music that features the talents of their students and other local high school a cappella ensembles capped off with a performance from a collegiate group.   • St. Mark’s Messy Church (4:00 – 6:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 27 Main St: A worship experience for busy families of younger kids. Includes a Bible story theme with activities, crafts, and a shared meal. For details and to RSVP, click here.

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required. For details, see related post.
  • Knitting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Bi-monthly social knitting group. Beginners are welcome and supplies will be provided, though you can also bring your own and “any creation you are working on”. For details, see related post.
  • Phyllis Fagell on “Raising Middle Schoolers” (7:00 – 8:30 pm) @ Fay School: This is part of Fay School’s Ideas&Insights series. This session, the public is invited to hear from an expert on ” “Raising Middle Schoolers: The 10 Key Skills Kids Need to Thrive and How Parents Can Help”. Registration is required.   • Health Effects of Climate Change (5:00 – 6:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: The Library and Board of Health will screen a short documentary, followed by a brief presentation with Q&A. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Baby/Toddler Storytime (11:00 – 11:45 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: A weekly program for ages 0-2 years with their parents/caregivers. Each session will include puppets and music. No registration required. For details, see related post.
  • Young Scientists STEM Beginnings (1:00 – 1:45 pm) @ Southborough Library: This is a free 6-week in-person series for children, ages 3-6 to learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts through hands-on activities, story time and simple experiments..   • Virtual Book Club (7:30 – 8:30 pm) @ zoom: Southborough Library hosted book group. Participants can chat about what they’re reading or listening to with library staff and other patrons. Meet once a month to informally exchange ideas. To sign up, contact rdonovan@cwmars.org.

  • D&D: Session 2 (2:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: Registration is required for this event for ages 12+ This is part of the series sponsored by Friends of the Southborough Library and led by a Dungeon Master.   • Sit & Knit (2:00 – 4:00pm) @ Southborough Library: Biweekly program for ages 18+ to drop in and work on your latest knitting or crochet projects while you enjoy the company of fellow yarn crafters in a relaxed social setting. All levels are welcome but no formal instruction will be given.
  • Southborough Safe Spaces Family Game Night (6:00 – 8:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Church, 27 Main Street: Family event for hosted by Southborough Safe Spaces for LBGTQ+ youth and their allies. Bring your favorite board games join them for pizza and games. For details, see their Facebook post.
