Last spring, a Southborough BSA Troop launched an invitational golf tournament. This spring, they are issuing a public invite to what is now dubbed the annual “Boy Scout Troop 92 Southborough Golf Open”.
The flyer promotes an 18-hole scramble format tournament. (That’s two rounds of play on the Town’s 9 hole course.)
The fundraiser will take place on Saturday, June 1st with tee times beginning at 9:00 am. It will take place at the Southborough Golf Club.
The cost is $400 per foursome. The fee covers carts, green fees, breakfast and lunch. Golfers can earn cash prizes for 1st / 2nd / 3rd place, longest
drive, and closest-to-the-pin shot. There will also be gift basket raffles.
