To the Editor:
The School Committee thanks voters for approving funding requests for roof replacements at Neary Elementary and Trottier Middle School. Both projects are on the May 12th ballot to be exempt debt. The Neary roof will be replaced this summer at an estimated $4.5 million, while the Trottier project will begin in spring 2027, with partial reimbursement from the Massachusetts School Building Authority. The committee encourages continued community support and welcomes questions.
