  • Biodiversity Through Pollination Garden Tour (10:00 am) @ Breakneck HIll Conservation Land: Open Space Preservation Commission and Stewardship Committee are celebrating  10 years of beecology research at the Breakneck Hill pollinator garden by inviting the public to tour it and learn about the “significant gains in populations of at-risk pollinators”.   • Southborough Safe Spaces – Movie Night Pajama Party (6:00 – 9:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Episcopal Church parish hall, 27 Main St: Event for grades 6-12 hosted by Southborough Safe Spaces for LBGTQ+ youth of all faiths and their allies. Tonight, they’ll enjoy pizza, popcorn, and a movie. For details, see their Facebook post or Instagram post.

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • Knitting Club & Quilting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Weekly opportunity for senior crafters to work on their projects in a social setting, including knitting, sewing, cross stitching, needle point. For details, see related post.
  • Make Your Own Puzzle (3:45 – 4:45 pm) @ Southborough Library: Registration is required for this free event for ages 7 and up. Each participant will get their own small puzzle to color and decorate. For details, click here.

  • Discounted Golf (6:00 am – 3:00 pm) @ Southborough Golf Club: Club management is offering discounted Greens Fees to Southborough residetns on Tuesdays in July as part of National Parks & Recreation month. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Bridge (12:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: A weekly card group, welcoming new participants. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
  • Storyteller Diane Edgecomb (4:00 – 4:45 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: The entertainer returns with “Game Time”! stories for kids. For details, see related post.
  • Puzzle Competition (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Room: This event for ages 8+ requires pre-registration. Participants will be organized into 4 teams and the first to finish the 500 piece puzzles wins.. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Geeks Who Drink Trivia Night (8:00 – 10:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: Weekly Trivia game night with prizes. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Popsicles at the Playground (12:30 pm) @ playground at 21 Highland St: This is a free event put on by Southborough Recreation for National Parks & Rec Month. For details, see related post.
  • Outdoor Story Time (4:30 – 5:30 pm) @ Southborough Library lawn (or in Children’s Room if it rains): Bring blankets for the lawn and enjoy stories from picture books read aloud.
  • Southborough Summer Concert Series (6:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Neary School outdoor stage by the tennis courts, 53 Parkerville Road: Southborough Rec’s free family friendly concert featuring The Rampage Trio. This first concert in the series, also features free ice cream. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Southborough Rotary Club (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: Regular meeting of the Rotary Club of Southborough. New and prospective members are always welcome. (Held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month.)
  • Live Blues Jam n’ Open Mic (8:00 – 11:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: Come play or sing with the house band and fellow musical talent, or just enjoy the show. For details, see restaurant website.ost.

  • Blood Drive (12:00 – 6:30 pm) @ Southborough Library parking lot, 25 Main St: The Bloodmobile will be collecting blood. (If no spots are available to book, walk-ins are always welcome.) For details, see related post.
  • Virtual Author Talk (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ online: Registration is required to take part in the free live talk with Q&A for 9th-12th graders, “Discerning the Truth with Marie Lu”. This is part of the Southborough Library’s virtual series featuring bestselling, award-winning, and highly acclaimed authors from around the world. For details, see related post.
  • Viewing Party for Marie Lu Author Talk (4:00 – 5:00 pm)@ Southborough Library: Registration is required for teens to meet up at the library to enjoy snacks and livestream together the virtual author talk with the author of Legend. For details, see related post.
