Obituary: Jack Edward Diamond, 92

Jack Edward Diamond, 92, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on April 12, 2026 after a short illness.

Jack was born in Detroit, Michigan, to David and Arlene (Hammer) Diamond. He was the beloved husband of 67 years to Eleanor (Westwood)Diamond.

Jack was a competitive bowler for much of his life, including beating a Professional Bowler on the television show Beat the Champ. He found great joy in coaching Little League, golfing and bowling with his family. He enjoyed watching Turner Classic Movies, old musicals, fishing from the docks in Port Sanilac, Michigan, and deep-sea fishing on the ocean. When he was younger, he played Semi-Pro football and was an Army Veteran stationed in Germany.

Jack loved playing poker, cribbage and double deck pinochle, which he passed down to his Children who still play today. He had a soft heart where animals were concerned and feed many feral cats in his neighborhood.

He was the loving father of Deborah Diamond, Julie (Robert) Schroeder, David (Tanya) Diamond, Lisa (Matthew) Braccio, Daniel (Chantal) Diamond, and Darryl (Becky) Diamond.

Jack was the proud grandfather of Anthony, Aaron, and Adam Taylor; Josh Schroeder and Kristina Hawkinson; Courtney and Jen Diamond; Robert Braccio; Abbie and Wyatt Diamond; Kayla Bedigian, Nicholas and Aidan Diamond. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

He was the dear brother of Donald Diamond. He was predeceased by his brothers, William and David Diamond, and his sister, Betty Kuen.

Jack will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
