Select Board puts ticking clock on saving the downtown Gazebo (Updated)

The board gave the public 2 weeks to come up with ideas/take on responsibility for moving the structure from the Main Street property.

Old public safety station demolition update

The tear down of the old police and fire stations is a sad sight for some. But preservationists did manage to save a significant feature and the school is offering bricks as mementos.

It’s an announcement that we always knew was coming. Town may seek conditions to releasing Fayville Hall rights (Updated)

Select Board is looking to do "due diligence" and considering conditions based on Right of First Refusal for 40-42 Central Street

The Select Board will quickly seek more “due diligence” before deciding on whether to release the Town’s Right of First Refusal (ROFR) to purchase Fayville Hall at 40-42 Central Street.

Town Boards and Committees have been asked to notify the Board by this Friday of any interest they have in the  property.

On Saturday, Annual Town Meeting voters weighed in on how the Town should spend its money and what our Southborough’s bylaws should be.
