We knew it was coming, and earlier this month the town of Northborough followed through by filing papers with the Worcester Superior Court asking for a declaratory judgment against Southborough in the ongoing dispute between the towns over how to split debt incurred when Algonquin was remodeled a few years ago. Selectmen reverse decision, increase residential tax rate

From behemoth EMC to the tiny mom-and-pop shops in town, members of Southborough’s business community turned out in force last night to protest last month’s decision to tax commercial property at a higher rate than residential property. Reminder: Flu clinic on Saturday

Southborough firefighters raising funds

You may get a phone call from the Southborough Permanent Firefighters I.A.F.F. Local 3129 sometime in the next few weeks. They recently kicked off their annual fundraising drive, and are looking for donations.
