I have another update on the migrant families being temporarily sheltered in Southborough. I was asked to share a request for support from Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). Late last week, Southborough officials learned that 60 asylum seekers (including infants and children) were put up at a hotel in our town. Recently, the Town Administrator confirmed that the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system is for the Public Safety Building is being supplemented by window AC units in the firefighter’s dorm rooms on nights when the weather is “hot and muggy”.
