Register for the Jeanne Arathuzik Memorial 5k Run/Walk
Somehow I missed this when it happened earlier this year, but Dennis Wrenn was not the only loss the Algonquin community faced this year. Jeanne Arathuzik, a much-loved Spanish teacher at Algonquin for 15 years, succumbed to cancer in January. A lifelong Northborough resident, she was only 52 when she died. Kidnapped ship captain has Southborough connection

Tree removal hearing
National Grid wants to cut down 37 trees and prune another six to provide more clearance for power lines in town. The affected trees are on Northboro, Parkerville, and Cordaville Roads.
