Algonquin boys soccer headed to the finals on Sunday

For the second year in a row, the Algonquin field hockey team has captured the Central Division 1 championship, with a narrow 1-0 win over Wachusett this afternoon. The game was scoreless until sophomore Maggie Wraight from Southborough scored with just over a minute left to play. Now in its fifth consecutive year, the annual Gobble Wobble Road Race has become a Thanksgiving tradition in Southborough. Runners and walkers from Southborough and surrounding towns are invited to come and enjoy the fun. Proceeds from the race benefit the Friends of Southborough Recreation.
