The Old Burial Ground nestled between Pilgrim Church and the Southborough Library has been a place of fascination for me for as long as I can remember. The cemetery has stones dating back as far as 1730. It was at the town’s very first Town Meeting in 1727 that the land was set aside as a final resting place for our earliest settlers. Thanks to the Southborough Food Pantry, a number of local families will have a happy – and tasty – Thanksgiving this year. Pantry volunteers, with the help of Southborough Girl Scouts, spent several days last week packaging up bags of food for local families in need. Did you hear about this? Animal rights terrorism suspect Daniel Andreas San Diego is on the run from authorities and as of last week was thought to be hiding in Western Mass. Authorities say that puts him within striking distance of several Massachusetts laboratories that use animals in their research – including the Primate Center in Southborough.
