This morning, the Select Board interviewed the two finalists to fill the vacant position of Southborough DPW Superintendent. The Board ultimately agreed to hire their preferred candidate and plan to offer him the support necessary to get up to speed in the areas where he has less experience than desired. This morning, I posted that a big interview by the Select Board was indefinitely postponed. Shortly after, a revised agenda for Friday morning’s pre-scheduled Select Board meeting was posted. It changed the time to 9:15 am and added the interviews. The agenda would also allow the Board to make their final decision tomorrow.
