Southborough’s unemployment rate continues to rise

Southborough’s unemployment rate increased from 5.1% in April to 5.8% in May according to numbers released recently by the state. Even so, unemployment in Southborough is still well below state and national levels. The unemployment rate in Massachusetts in May was 8.0%. Nationally it was 9.1%.

Southborough firefighter completes basic training
