Library celebrates independence on July 2nd

The Southborough Library Children’s Room holds its annual “4th of July parade” this Tuesday, July 2nd. This is always a fun and cute event to participate in or just cheer on.

Children are invited to march in the parade as it leaves the Library at 11:00 am.

With patriotic music playing, the flag waving kids will march up the hill to the Town House. Many will be adorned in silly patriotic attire, lent by the library (hats, headbands, sunglasses, necklaces, etc.) Others will be shaking noisemakers.

Most will be fueled by the knowledge that ice cream is waiting for them at the library when they return.

The free event is sponsored by the Friends of the Southborough Library. Registration is not required.
