Second Southborough man charged in 2009 Hyannis murder

Ten months ago Southborough teen Christopher Manoloules was arrested on charges he murdered his uncle Aris Manoloules in a botched robbery attempt in Hyannis. Last Friday Southborough resident Treefon Manoloules — father of Christopher and brother of the victim — was also arrested on murder charges in the case.

Eaton Apothecary broken into again

The Metrowest Daily News reports Eaton Apothecary was broken into again on Tuesday night. It’s the second time in three months. Back in November someone threw a rock through a plate glass window to enter the store. Police Chief Jane Moran said there’s no indication yet that the two incidents were related.

Two business along Route 9 broken into

Two Route 9 businesses — Town Line Rentals and Shrubs & Trees — were broken into on Friday night. The thief made off with about $50 from Town Line Rentals. The owner of Shrubs & Trees wouldn’t say if anything was taken.
The businesses are both located on Route 9 east.

Armed robbery at Wendy’s on Route 9 in Southborough

Two men wearing ski masks and brandishing silver revolvers held up the Wendy’s on Route 9 (map) on Saturday night, making off with about $900.

Kidnapped NJ teen found in Southborough

The Worcester Telegram & Gazette is reporting that a 15-year-old New Jersey girl was found at the Red Roof Inn in Southborough this morning with a 23-year-old-man who is being charged with kidnapping her.
