APTO thank supporters of Post Prom Parties

The APTO had the challenge of funding two post prom parties this spring. They managed to pull it off. Recently, they asked me to share their public thanks to those who made it possible.

The Algonquin PTO would like to thank everyone who donated to our 2022 Post Prom Fundraiser; including the 63 businesses and organizations, the 330 individuals and the organizers of the 4 fundraisers. Your generosity allowed the Algonquin PTO to fully fund both the post prom parties for the class of 2023 on May 1st and for the class of 2022 on May 21st. Students enjoyed an evening of entertainment, music, food, activities and ice skating at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough. The annual post prom party is designed to discourage drinking and driving by providing a safe and fun alternative to unsupervised parties on prom night. These events would not have been possible without the support of our community.
