Deborah “Debby” Lee Carey, of Southborough, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on May 31, 2022 at age 71. She was the beloved wife of Kent Carey, for over 53 years, who she married after graduating from high school, and the daughter of the late Janet and Roland Soucy.

Debby was the kind of person who loved God and did whatever she could to take care of those around her. She taught religious education and was an active part of the church. Debby was a full time Mom, baker, and artist who created inspirational pieces that made people feel at home. Her most prominent trait was how much she truly loved everyone, and that love will continue to grow within the hearts of all those who knew her.

In addition to her husband, she survived by her children, Keith Carey; Brian Carey and his wife Teresa; her brothers, David Soucy; John Soucy; her grandchildren, Sara, Juliet, Luke and Henry Carey.

Debby is predeceased by her sister, Pamela.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 12, noon, at St Anne Church, 20 Boston Road, Southborough. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Debby’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
