Pilgrim Church invites kids to celebrate protecting the earth

The "Kid's Church" will hold special events around Earth Day related to "Protecting God's Creation"

Pilgrim Church has special activities lined up for children over the next three Sundays in honor of Earth Day.
The congregational church promotes:

Join Pilgrim Kid’s Church as we build a garden this spring! We will be talking about God’s creation and our role in caring for it.

The “Kid’s Church” offers Sunday School activities each week for ages PreK through 8th Grade. It is held on Sundays at 10:00 am.

  • April 16th — Movie Day, “we’ll watch a movie about how kids contribute to protecting the earth, we will eat some popcorn and have some fun!”
  • April 23rd — Dirt Day, “Earth Day weekend, we will celebrate Dirt Day! Dirt Day is when we will fill our new raised bed with soil in anticipation of planting seeds. Please have kids wear clothes that can get dirty.”
  • April 30th — Garden Planning, “we will be drawing a plant map and planning what seeds to plant in the garden and where to put them. We’re very excited about this new project as we continue to grow and explore all the things that God has in store for us.”
