Next week, a very “high energy” band will entertain on Neary’s outdoor stage. It will be the first time that Disco Lemonade participates in Southborough’s concert series.
The concert is Thursday, July 16th. As always, the performance will take place 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Neary School’s field, 53 Parkerville Road. It will be the first of two concerts in this year’s Summer Concert series.
[Reminder: While there are fewer concerts than past years, Rec is also holding two “Block Parties”, including one tonight.]
Concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs. You can even bring dinner to enjoy a picnic, or plan to purchase one from Teddy’s Lunch Box food truck.
Thanks to the concert’s sponsorship by Friends of Southborough Recreation, you can also enjoy free ice cream scooped out from the Trombetta’s Farm ice cream truck
As for the musical entertainment. . .
From what I could find about the band, Disco Lemonade members appear to pride themselves on embracing silly antics, playing fun mashups, and pumping up the crowd.

I do have to note — although they have six members, it looks like they sometimes perform with fewer. And I don’t know how many of them are planning to come to Southborough next week.
