Southborough Recreation will offer a free music class for children ages 6 and under on Thursday at their newly-opened play space at the South Union Building (21 Highland Street). Local yoga instructor Annie Sobel has been coming to the Southborough Senior Center every Thursday for a while now to lead a small group of participants in an after-work yoga session. The Algonquin basketball program will offer a skills camp at the high school over February vacation for boys and girls in grades 5 through 8. Santa Claus will make his usual flashy arrival in Southborough on Saturday, December 9, when he lands via helicopter on St. Mark’s field (weather permitting). From there he’ll head over to the Community House to hear the wish lists of all the good little boys and girls. The Jolly One arrives at noon, and will be at the Community House until 3:00 pm.
