Early dismissal for schools on Wednesday, school committee meeting rescheduled
Kids in Northborough and Southborough will get dismissed early from school on Wednesday thanks to the coming snow. And for those of you looking forward to the school committee meeting, you’ll have to wait one more day. The meeting, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday night, has been postponed to Thursday at 6:30 pm. It will still be held in the library at Trottier. Impending storm postpones zoning forum on Wednesday night
The flakes haven’t even started to fall, but already the nor’easter predicted for tomorrow has claimed its first casualty. The public forum on Southborough’s villages sponsored by the Zoning Advisory Committee was to be held tomorrow night, but due to the impending storm, it has been rescheduled to February 24. Algonquin girls soccer and tennis teams celebrated

Last month members of the Algonquin girls soccer team were awarded plaques to commemorate their 2009 state championship win. And last week, they were honored by Southborough and Northborough’s state representatives at the state house. Southborough teen denied bail on murder charge
Southborough resident Christopher Manoloules, 18, was denied bail last week on charges that he murdered his uncle in Hyannis last September. Selectmen talk non-profits, other fiscal issues with state legislators
