The Southborough Education Foundation (SEF) recently awarded more than $30K in grants to support innovative programs at each of the Southborough schools and Algonquin. Some of the grants were used to purchase technology like interactive whiteboards, a visible wavelength spectrometer, and even a Wii gaming system to be used for fitness programs. In all the discussion about St. Mark’s lawn last week, some commenters also griped about bus traffic to and from the school on School Street and Latisquama Road. It’s a big weekend for Southborough seniors. Members of the class of 2010 will walk across the stage at Algonquin on Sunday to collect their diplomas. The ceremony begins at 2:00 pm in the gym.
