On Tuesday, I noted that I was waiting to hear how Chestnut Hill Farm would handle their upcoming Friday Night Dinner given the EEE threat. The answer is in. The Farm will reschedule them for earlier evenings on weekends.
It’s too difficult to rework it for this weekend, and the following weekend is the farm’s big annual Harvest Festival. (Stay tuned for a post on that.) So the dinners will take place later this month.
Here is their announcements:
Chestnut Hill Farm has decided to reschedule its September Friday Farm Dinners due to the “critical level” designation for EEE in Southborough. The town’s recommendation is to not hold outdoor events between the hours of 6pm and 6am, and therefore the farm is following those guidelines. The 9/6 dinner has been rescheduled for Sunday, September 22, from 4pm to 6pm. The 9/20 dinner has been rescheduled for Sunday, 9/29, from 4pm to 6pm. You can make your reservations on Chestnut Hill Farm’s website. At these family-friendly events you’ll enjoy a delicious al fresco dinner created with Chestnut Hill Farm’s fresh ingredients. Sip on a refreshing beverage while listening to live music, play lawn games with friends and family, and relax as children run in the plentiful open space of the farm.Proceeds from the farm’s events help support the running of the nonprofit farm and help fund its future community events. CHF thanks you for your support!
The cost for members of The Trustees of Reservations is $40/adult and $16/child. For nonmembers, it is $50/adult and $20/child.
