Photos: Spring scenes in Southborough

Occasionally, readers send in some great shots. Sometimes, I stumble across some in social media. I’m sharing a few of each from this spring.

Over the weekend, Brooke Kanal spotted a mama swan and cygnets at the reservoir at Middle Road. Days earlier, Chris Robbins captured a gorgeous sunset from the reservoir crossing at Parkerville Road. Thanks to both of them for sending them in!  (Click images to enlarge)

If this gorgeous day is giving you the itch to go for a walk, you may want to check out the Trails at Chestnut Hill Farm. Facebook posts by the farm demonstrate that spring really is budding over there. It’s especially great for families with young children, since they’ve put up their Storywalk for the season, “Spring is Here”. (Click images below to enlarge)

Yesterday, the farm posted a video to make up for the fact that we can’t wander over to visit their goats in person these days. (If you can’t see that below, click here.):

Earlier in the April, Fay School posted this beautiful pic of its campus on Facebook. (Click to enlarge.)

Last week, the school posted a few more pics to instagram:
