As I write this, the rain has begun in Southborough. It’s expected to switch over to snow later this evening, with the potential for “historic” amounts of snow throughout the state. Woodward SOS is offering pies for sale just in time for Thanksgiving: delicious pecan, pumpkin and apple pies, or a sweet, juicy peach fruit crisp. Love it or not – I happen to love it – the park presents a dramatic welcome to those visiting Southborough from the south. Justine P. (Powers) Murphy, 88, died peacefully Saturday October 22nd at the Heritage Nursing Home in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of Edmund D.
