Yet another fire incident. This time in a home on Wildwood Drive. A sump pump in the basement of the home caught fire on Sunday evening and filled the basement with smoke. Fire Chief John Mauro passed along the following: A 49 year old Southborough resident was transported to U-Mass Hospital in Worcester after a 5:25 pm collision between her and a car in front of Mauro’s Market.  The car was traveling eastbound when the collision occurred. Driving downtown this evening I found Main St. in front of Mauro’s Market blocked by patrol cars. No traffic was being let through. A Southborough man was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges he was part of a drug operation outside of Atlanta. The 29-year-old is alleged to have collaborated with street gang members to sell cocaine out of a business he was affiliated with.
