Students are collecting empty drink pouches – think Caprisun and the like – and sending them to New Jersey-based TerraCycle to be made into useful items like backpacks. Regional school committee declines to get in middle of debt issue
At a special meeting this week, the regional school committee decided to stay out of the tiff between Northborough and Southborough over how to split debt remaining on the Algonquin renovation. The Northborough Board of Selectmen had asked them to file a request for a declaratory judgment on the issue, but the school committee voted unanimously not to do that.
