Select Board’s goals for this year (FY27)

Prioritized efforts to streamline government, grapple with school buildings, improve financial planning, reevaluate the EDC, look at potential disposition of municipal properties, and much more

I’m overdue in sharing the goals that the Select Board has posted for the year. These are the tasks that members are prioritizing to accomplish (or at least make progress on) before the end of next June. STM Article 14: Full Time EDC Coordinator (Updated)

At their joint August 27th meeting, the Select Board Chair warned the Advisory Committee that Southborough is “bleeding businesses”. Town Meeting: Salaries raised to “market rate”, grilling over cemetery supervisor, and hiring an economic coordinator

Town Meeting voters approved more than $50 million in town budgets and expenditures last night. But there’s still a lot of business to be resolved tonight.
