This week, the Select Board approved a charge to create a new ad hoc committee dedicated to exploring steps to deal with a cemetery that will run out of space for new graves.

I missed a significant impact from the high winds on Monday night. Downed trees and limbs, knocked down wires around town, and blocked off two roads. When Town Clerk Jim Hegarty spoke to the Select Board and Advisory Committee on Tuesday, he quipped that he was there to talk himself out of a job.
