  • Yoga for grieving mothers (4:30 – 6:00 pm) @ Theracopia Therapeautic Wellness Center, 5 Crystal Pond Road : Free yoga, deep meditation and Reiki healing offered to mothers who have lost a child and their families For details, see dedicated post.
  • Southborough Safe Spaces Youth Meeting (7:00 – 9:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Church, 27 Main Street: Event for grades 6-12 hosted by Southborough Safe Spaces for LBGTQ+ youth of all faiths and their allies. This event theme is Movie Night PJ Party. For details, see their Instagram post.

  • Cutler Jazz Festival (6:30 pm) @ St. Mark’s School, the Class of ’45 Hall: St. Mark’s School’s annual spring jazz festival. It is free and open to the public. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required. For details, see related post.
  • Friends of the Library – HOLA fundraiser (11:00 am – 10:00 pm) @ Hola Restaurant & Tequila Bar, 154 Turnpike Rd: This Monday – Thursday, a portion from each order will be donated to The Friends of the Southborough Library. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Teen Library Team: Blanket Making (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ where: Calling tween & teen volunteers who want volunteer credit to make no sew fleece blankets to be donated to children in need. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Trottier Orientation for Parents (6:00 – 7:00 pm) @ Trottier Middle School auditorium: Information night or parents of 5th graders who will be attending the middle school as 6th graders in the fall..
  • Poetry Workshop (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, main level: Bring in five copies of original poetry to share. The group will provide supportive feedback. If you don’t have a poem, come anyway and share your insights. (Meets twice monthly.)

  • Troop 823 Pasta Dinner (11:30 am – 1:30 pm) @ Trinity Church (23 Main Street), Northborough: The Boroughs’ BSA Troop for girls is holding its annual fundraiser. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Earth Day Lunch (12:00 pm) @ in front of Southborough Library: Anyone who took part in the Clean Up effort is invited to join Rotary for free pizza and ice cream. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Earth Day Outdoor Garden Clean up (12:30 pm) @ outside the Southboough Library: Learn about ecological gardening, and pitch in to help tidy up. bring gloves and clippers if you have them. For details, see related post.
  • Sit & Knit (2:00 – 4:00pm) @ Southborough Library: Biweekly program for ages 18+ to drop in and work on your latest knitting or crochet projects while you enjoy the company of fellow yarn crafters in a relaxed social setting. All levels are welcome but no formal instruction will be given.

  • GonkPlex SoccerFest for the Jimmy Fund (1:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School fields, 79 Bartlett St, Northborough: Kids ages 7-12 are encouraged to form their own team of players to sign up for the fun soccer tournament benefitting Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund.   • St. Mark’s Messy Church (4:00 – 6:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 27 Main St: A worship experience for busy families of younger kids. Includes a Bible story theme with activities, crafts, and a shared meal. For details and to RSVP, click here.
