Southborough Police are investigating an incident of an apparently kicked (but not kicked-in) front door. It’s one of the many updates I’m sharing related to the SPD.

The Marijuana dispensary in town will be closing up shop (at a date still TBD). And based on past Town Meeting votes unfriendly to marijuana businesses, there are definite challenges for a new business to take over the market. This morning, the Select Board interviewed the two finalists to fill the vacant position of Southborough DPW Superintendent. The Board ultimately agreed to hire their preferred candidate and plan to offer him the support necessary to get up to speed in the areas where he has less experience than desired.
