Around 7:25 pm last night, a vehicle going westbound on Route 9 struck a utility pole at the entrance of 257/259 Turnpike Road (the Deerfoot Office Park). The Board of Heath is offering rabies shots for cats and dogs on Saturday for $10 a pop. The clinic will be held at the DPW building next to the Transfer Station.
