This morning, the Select Board interviewed the two finalists to fill the vacant position of Southborough DPW Superintendent. The Board ultimately agreed to hire their preferred candidate and plan to offer him the support necessary to get up to speed in the areas where he has less experience than desired. This morning, I posted that a big interview by the Select Board was indefinitely postponed. Shortly after, a revised agenda for Friday morning’s pre-scheduled Select Board meeting was posted. At the Special Town Meeting last fall, voters passed two new bylaws impacting future Town Meetings. One of those bylaws sets a deadline for Citizen Petition Articles to be added to the Warrant.
