Recreation in Southborough

The winter months can be a challenge for families with young children, what with all the stuck-inside-stir-craziness. The Southborough Recreation Department hopes to help. Kids need to shop for the holidays too, and each year Southborough Boy Scouts offer them a safe and fun environment to do just that. The annual Troop 92 Kids Shop will be held this year on Saturday, December 1, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Woodward School (28 Cordaville Road). Start your Thanksgiving off right with Southborough’s annual Gobble Wobble road race. There’s still time to register for the race and all the associated family fun. Organizers are also looking for volunteers to help out for an hour or so the day of the race. Shifts start at 7:30 am.
